I stayed at The Angel for a couple of nights while exploring East London. The room had a cozy vibe and some quirky decor that made it unique, but it felt a bit outdated. The bed was comfortable enough, and the shared facilities seemed clean for the most part. The shared bathrooms were a little inconvenient, especially since my room was next to the shower. I could hear guests using the facilities late at night, which disrupted my sleep. I appreciated that the pub downstairs served nice craft beers, and I enjoyed grabbing breakfast one morning, with a decent variety. the breakfast choices varied. one morning, I received just a piece of fruit and some crackers, which didn’t feel substantial. Plus, the lack of mugs in the room for morning coffee was disappointing. I left feeling like it had potential but with some areas needing attention.

Good vibes and a cozy room
I had a solo stay for 2 nights and found the staff super friendly! The fact that I couldn’t hear the pub below was a win. I loved grabbing a pint downstairs. Dinner in the pub was nice too, with a chill atmosphere.
